• Gonorrhea
• Kidney stones
• Prostatitis
• Having a recent urinary tract procedure been performed, including the use of urological instruments for treatment or testing.

When should you visit a doctor?

One must visit a doctor if they notice any one of the following problems:

• The painful urination persists
• The urine is cloudy or foul-smelling, or you observe blood in the urine
• If someone is suffering from fever
• There is a discharge or drainage from the vagina or the penis

If a women is pregnant, she must let her doctor know if she suffers with some problem during urination. Once you visit the doctor, he may ask you several questions like the color of the urine, amount of the urine, if there is any pus or blood in the urine. Do not hesitate to answer any of these questions.
