Every new year on 31 December most of the people across the world took a resolution of losing weight but, do all of them reach the success? No, a lot of them are not able to do it. Obesity is one of the biggest problems that a large number of people across the world are undergoing with. Have you ever noticed that we tend to crave for certain type of foods and very lesser are the chances that we are able to control and put an end to these strong desires. The best example of these types of foods is junk foods; they taste good but at the same time when consumed adds lots of calories to your body. Losing weight and keeping it off is not difficult as all of us think- we only to do few changes to get started. If you are not sure where to start? Keep a dairy for maintaining your food and exercise records- Be honest to yourself and write down everything related to your foods, drinks and your workout, even if you have a bad day.

Exercise to maintain your weight loss- Even if you have a very busy schedule, try to workout 5 days a week for about 30 minutes as this will help you burn fat and calories, improving your metabolic rate.

Make sure to measure your food amounts at home- If you are preparing a dish and the recipe says that you need to use 2 tbsp of sugar, make it 1 tbsp, don't use it in more amount as it can add much of calories.

Increase you workout program- If you are a beginner you may workout for a short time 2-3 times a week but you need to gradually increase your workout timing in order to lose weight.

Measure your weight once in a week- Measuring weight daily is a bad idea, avoid doing that. Weight fluctuates on a regular basis, so weekly measure would be good. Keep yourself motivated for the next week's weight loss after measuring how much you have reduced in the present week. Are you performing the same exercises on a regular basis, thus making your body used to it. Avoid doing that because you are making them less effective. A little variation in your exercise plan will keeps it exciting and you are more likely to put extra effort in it. Take it as an advice and plan your workout in a manner that it not only includes your regular exercise but also involves you in dancing, cycling, playing, jogging and so on.
