Yashtimadhu capsules are known to contain the root extract of Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra). It is a herb widely used to support the body’s normal digestive function. It has demulcent and antiulcerogenic agent, which is beneficial in healing gastric and duodenal ulcers. Active phytoconstituents of Yastimadhu prevents the growth of bacteria named, Helicobacter pylori, bacteria that is linked to gastritis and stomach ulcers. These capsules are indicated for treating heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), non-ulcer dyspepsia, and drug-induced gastritis. Also used to reduce gastric acid secretion that causes uneasiness in the stomach. Recommended 1-2 capsules before meals, twice a day. To be use under medical supervision.
