FIRST AID TIPS – IN CASE OF ACUTE ASTHMA ATTACK

Essential tips to follow in case of an acute asthma attack:

* Make the patient calm and do not leave him alone.

* Try to rest the patient in a comfortable upright position.

* Lose the tight clothing around the neck and make him/her calm and cool.

* Get into well ventilated, open area.

* If you have the patient's inhaler, give 4 puffs of it immediately at an interval of 1 minute

* If the person does not feel better, give another set of 4 puffs.
