Winter season is beautiful but problematic as well for few people. well, it’s a natural phenomenon. A sudden drop in the temperature brings with it health issues such as arthritis, and heart ailments, etc. However, the winter season is the time to look out for the skin-related disease and respiratory infections as well.

Common cold

The common cold is way too common and often we ignore it as something that is a part of changing season. Symptoms of strep throat include difficulty and pain whole swallowing food or water, headache, fever, etc. It is good to consult a doctor, drink warm water and rest well.

Bronchitis

Children or toddlers below the age of 2 years often fall prey to bronchitis. Typical symptoms include breathing difficulty due to the inflammation airway passage in the lungs as they get clogged. Patients of bronchitis experience mild fever, congestion in the nasal passage, coughing and wheezing. To prevent, one should get enough rest, stay hydrated and sleep more.

Pneumonia

Pneumonia is another lung infection which is common in the winter season. A disease caused by bacteria can be mild or severe in nature which means if it is mild, it can be treated at home but if gets severe, hospitalization is possible too. People have weaker immunity or health issues like asthma, heart issues or even cancer are prone to suffer from pneumonia. Unfortunately, this disease is difficult to detect in the initial stages. However, if the patient experiences constant cold or high fever, it is best to seek a doctor.

Preventing the causes is the key to avoid these seasonal health issues. You can prevent all these issues by following a healthy lifestyle or with a regular health check-up.
